Couples Therapy
Relationships can be one of the most meaningful parts of life—and one of the most challenging. When communication breaks down, conflict becomes repetitive, trust has been damaged, or emotional and physical connection begins to fade, couples can begin to feel lonely and disconnected while still deeply wanting things to be different.
Couples therapy provides a supportive space to better understand what is happening beneath the surface. Together, couples can explore the patterns that keep them feeling stuck and develop new ways of communicating, responding, and reconnecting.
Couples therapy can help with:
Recurring conflict and communication difficulties
Emotional distance and disconnection
Feeling unheard, misunderstood, or alone
Trust issues, betrayal, and relationship injuries
Infidelity and rebuilding trust
Intimacy concerns
Parenting and family challenges
Life transitions and relationship stress
Using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach to couples therapy, the focus goes beyond simply improving communication. Couples learn to understand the deeper patterns and emotions driving conflict, create greater emotional safety, and build a stronger, more connected relationship.
Whether a relationship is in crisis or simply in need of renewed connection, meaningful change is possible. Couples don't have to keep having the same arguments or feeling increasingly distant from one another.

Our Approach
Our approach is individualized, trauma-informed, and rooted in understanding each teen's unique experiences, strengths, and needs. Depending on the individual, therapy may incorporate attachment-based and family systems approaches, behavioral interventions, emotional regulation, coping skills, and support for healthy relational development.
When appropriate, we also collaborate with parents and caregivers to help families better understand their teen, strengthen connection, and create positive support at home.
Our therapists bring experience from a variety of settings, including residential treatment, schools, medical and crisis settings, and family-based interventions. We believe that even during difficult seasons, therapy can help adolescents build on their strengths, heal from painful experiences, and move forward with greater hope, resilience, and confidence.
